Building Better Processes for Child Protection

How can the providers of children’s services meaningfully contribute to regulatory changes?

Partners & Funders

Four people sit together around a table in an office setting. The table is covered with a large sheet of paper and hand-written sticky notes.

The Project

NYC’s child welfare agency actively tries to include the voice of families and front-line staff into its program design and evaluation process. PPL collaborated with them to investigate current internal processes and design policies and tools to ensure more user-centered service delivery.

The Outcome

PPL designed a provider-informed change management process for child protective services. The recommendations roadmap we designed is now being used to guide internal development of new systems and policies.
