Responding to President Biden’s executive order on customer experience, PPL partnered with the White House’s Office of Management and Budget to design policy to improve the experience of Americans dealing with key life events. We focused on two life events: facing a sudden financial shock and birth/early childhood for low-income families.
The Outcome
After months of research and design, we co-designed a series of policy and pilot proposals to address the needs identified from both life experiences. Two pilots launched, the Benefits Bundle and the Newborn Supply Kit, and are now supporting families across the country.
