Responding to President Biden’s executive order on customer experience, PPL partnered with the White House’s Office of Management and Budget to improve the experience of Americans facing a sudden financial shock.
The Outcome
Our research identified three key opportunities: improving people’s experiences navigating and applying for different benefits at the same time, encouraging states and localities to use federal funds to help people more quickly re-establish stability, and empowering people through career transitions to better jobs and lasting stability. Building on these findings, the federal government launched pilot efforts in 2023 to reduce the administrative burden of navigating federal programs by better using data and technology.
