Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) is committed to reducing the prevalence of childhood obesity in the United States, particularly among low-income and otherwise disadvantaged populations. For RWJF, PPL explored how to apply human-centered design methods to issues around child obesity.
The Outcome
We developed a three-phase model of short-term, medium-term, and long-term recommendations for how RWJF could apply human-centered approaches to their work. These included co-designing and testing to increase obesity-fighting behaviors and applying multi-variable human-centered methods to transform pilot communities.
