Scaling Supervised Release for Individuals Facing Trial

How might we improve the organizational design of a rapidly growing social work team?

Partners & Funders

The Project

As the supervised release program has become more widely utilized in New York City, the Supervised Release team has seen rapid growth. PPL worked with the Center for Justice Innovation to identify ways to sustainably expand the Supervised Release while meeting staff and client needs.

The Outcome

We developed design concepts aimed around new hire onboarding, case distribution, and ongoing operational processes. Each concept included an implementation guide and a minimum viable product that could be implemented almost immediately.
